I shall begin at the beginning.  Begin at the beginning...  (three cheers to the one who knows this quote!)

This blog is about coffee, but more specifically espresso and my journey of appreciation.  Guess who gets to come along on the ride?  Yes, that's right... YOU!  You, my faithful and deft audience, can read—even participate—in my ramblings.  Primarily, this blog's purpose is to be a forum where I can post reviews of the espresso I order from across the country.

I pledge that my preparation methods will be the best I know to do at the time of writing.  I am continuously asking questions and learning as I read articles, so my methods and techniques will change necessarily as I become more advanced in my understanding.  If you have helpful advice or constructive criticism, I would enjoy hearing from you in the comment area below my posts.

In a future post, I will share pictures of my equipment and setup so that you will have a baseline for my experiences.  For now, I shall sign off and go grab my daily 'presso from the local brew house!
